Transit visa

This visa is for those who change flights in Japan during transit to another country and wish to pay a short visit to Japan.
In case of visiting an acquaintance/friend or relatives, or commercial affairs, please apply for appropriate visa according to your purpose.
Please note that your application will not be accepted if there are any missing documents.
Note:
• During the visa process, the applicant may be requested to submit additional documents deemed necessary.
• Documents to be submitted should be in A4 size.
• The duration of the issued document should be within 3 months from the date of issue, and be submitted within its validity period.
Required documents
（1） Valid passport
Should have at least 2 blank pages for visa
（2） Copy of passport
Only bio-date page (printed on A4 paper)
（3） Visa application form (*signed by applicant)
・ Affix 1x photo（4.5cm×3.5cm, white background）
・ If there is any omission in the description, it will be not accepted
（4） Documents to prove ability to pay for travel expenses
Original copy of bank statement, bankbook (attach a copy) etc.
If someone supports for travel expenses, additionally submit:
• Sponsership letter (stating relationship with applicants) or
• Documents to prove kinship for family (resident book, family book, ect.)
（5） Schedule of stay
・Daily activities from the date of arrival to the date of departure written by each day, arriving and departing flight information (if already fixed), place of stay (name, its address and contact number).
（6） Air tickets reservation sheets issued by airline company
All reservations from Cambodia to final destination (*for round trip ⇒ from Cambodia to final destination and back)
（7） Valid visa of final destination (region) that travelling through Japan or proof of re-entry
Supplementary documents
・ A minor traveling without legal representative’s company ⇒ Letter of consent
・ Foreign nationals residing in Cambodia ⇒ Click here
