The Competition to create a logo and catchphrase for
" the 60th anniversary of friendship between Japan and Cambodia"

The year 2013 is the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Japan and Cambodia. On this auspicious occasion, both countries will organize various commemorative events to further strengthen the bilateral relations in such fields as economy, culture, arts, academics, sports, tourism and so on.

  logo

  Create a logo that describes the friendly relationship between Japan and Cambodia. The logo also needs to be suitable for usage in advertisement/media.

  Catchphrase

  Create a catchphrase that refers to the friendly relations between Japan and Cambodia. The catchphrase also needs to be simple and suitable for usage in a media public relations tool.

  Eligibility

No restriction on nationality, age, sex, occupation.

  Deadline for submitting entries

November 30, 2012

  Selection

  Entries will be carefully considered by the executive committee of the 60th anniversary of friendship between Japan and Cambodia, and one winner will be selected.

  Announcement

The result will be announced on this website.

  Logo requirements

  Paper: Vertical white A4-size

  Please submit two versions (color, black-and-white). No limit of color gradation.

  Image format: Only JPEG, GIF, Illustrator and Photoshop are acceptable. (Note) We may request to change the image format.

  There is no limit on the number of entries. However, entrants must submit one entry form per entry.

  Entries will not be returned.

  Catchphrase requirements

Language: English or Japanese.
(note) After selection, the winning entries will be translated into Japanese (or English), and may be translated into Khmer.

  Copyright

  The work must be unpublished and made by yourself exclusively for this contest of the 60th anniversary of friendship between Japan and Cambodia.
  The work which contravenese public order and other laws and regulations including defamation and copyright infringement of third parties will be excluded from the contest.
  All right of adobted work will be the property of the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia. Use of adopted work, official logo and catchphrase for the anniversary year will be decided by the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia. Processing of the work will be restricted to size adjustment and black-white conversion.
