■ What is JDS Program ? ■
  • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan offers scholarships program (Human Resource Development Scholarship) under the Grant Aid of Official Development Assistance (ODA) by the Government of Japan. This Program is to provide nationals of Cambodia with opportunities for academic research at Japanese universities (English Course) in order to assist Human Resource Development in Cambodia.
■ How to Apply ■
  • All applications must be submitted to JICE JDS Project Office in the Kingdom of Cambodia by the closing date, October 24 (Wed), 2012.

Master Course (Total 24 candidates in 8 fields of study):
1. Legal and Judicial Development

2. Improving Local and Central Administrative Functions

3. Developing Closer International Relationship between Asian Countries

4. Improving of Social and Economic Infrastructure

5. Promotion of Industry and Mining Development

6. Promotion of Economic Development

7. Agriculture and Rural Development

8. Support for the Education Sector



★Requirements★

Academic Background
University Graduate (Bachelor Holder)

Working experience At least two years of work experience as full-time employee in the target organizations. * Please check the website for the list of target organizations.
Duration 1 - 2.5 years course (depends on the accepting Universities)
Health Be in good mental & physical condition
Age
Between the ages of 22 and 39 as of April 1, 2013 (Born on/after April 2nd, 1973 and on/before April 1st, 1991)

English Level
Advanced English language skills. TOEFL 500/ IELTS 5.5 is preferable.
